This is the superman origin story we all deserve. Liked the animation and voiceovers. Movie had great background score as well. A well balanced story having all elements like comedy, seriousness /darkness & quirkiness. The style of the movie and theme is somewhat like man of steel, the phasing is good, it does not feel long. The new animation is amazing. First off, I love superman and always will. I was very excited and really looking forward to this movie! I watched this with my son who also loves superman and we both walked away bored and a little disappointed. It felt drawn out and was slow in several places. The action IMO Lobo was great and made this more tolerable. The past collections of DC animated movies from Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) thru Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020) were fantastic and set the bar pretty high! Unfortunately, this movie fell short. If you're a superman fan and have nothing better to do, this movie will help pass the don't get your hopes up.
